Prophecy of the Flame (Love's Dawning) Review
This book was amazing. I HATE reading. I really do. This book was recommended to me, and I bought it on kindle, cause I mean hey! it's cheap! why not. I started reading, and became enthralled with it. I couldn't put it down. I wore out the battery on my ipod touch kindle app, I am now in love with the characters, and their development is top notch. Everytime something happens in the book, I wonder what the outcome will be. It's not campy, which is good, it's not political which is also great. The story keeps you wanting more, and more is what I am excited to read as I just purchased book two!
Go out and buy this, it's cheaply priced, and wonderfully written. You will not be disappointed!
All in all, this book receives a 5 star review from me, with a warning to Stephanie Meyer, that this book is going to go places your books only dreamed they would go.
Prophecy of the Flame (Love's Dawning) Overview
In a blinding flash of light, five nondescript strangers are yanked from this world and thrust into a land of sorcery as they are granted the looks and abilities of the people they were pretending to be. This band of wannabe heroes soon discovers that having the powers they have always dreamed of, does not make life a dream come true. The Crusaders of the Light struggle to form a cohesive band as they blend twentieth century technology with the supernatural powers of this new world, fighting to liberate the kingdom of Cuthburan from the evil horde threatening humanity.
Battle is also waged within Reba, an ordinary housewife who has become the most powerful mage on the planet, as she struggles to remain true to her wedding vows. Drawn against her will to the arms of Prince Alexandros, Reba must choose between the prophesied marriage to a handsome prince in a magical world or returning to the husband she left behind.

What a surprise.... - Plain Jane - TX
I don't usually read too much fantasy, but I was hooked after the first chapter. This book is written in a unique style that really draws you into the story, it's like you become part of the story! I literally couldn't put this book down.
I can't wait for the next book...
Prophecy of the Flame (Love's Dawning) - Lorie -
This series is hard to put down. The first book is an easy fast pace read that left me wanting more. I am so glad that book two finally came out. I feel like a spoiled kid that just wants more of Lynn's writting.
Fun - not too heavy on the romance. - Tony - Virginia
I must say, I was not sure about this book because of the cover: "Love's Dawning" kind of made me think it might be to romancy for me. I'm okay with a little romance, but I'm not a romance kind of guy.
The relationships in this book are a full part of the story, that is true, but it wasn't overbearing. It was really necessary to the plot and added a great deal to it.
Also the writing style really draws you into the story. It kind of reminds me of Modesitt's books: The Magic of Recluce (Recluce series, Book 1). I can't wait for the next book! (I hear it's due out anytime now.)
