Crush on You (Three Kisses) Review
The Baci sisters learned on their father's deathbed that their winery - Tanti Baci - is near financial ruin. Alessandra, the youngest, is determined to save the vineyard - her idea - fix up a cottage and have weddings there at the vineyard. Of course, nothing is easy. The contractor who's suppose to fix up the cottage ups and leaves for a better paying job. Enter Penn Bennett.
Penn Bennett is visiting his newly found half-brothers. Turns out their father was having an affair with Penn's mother. Penn's not all that sure he wants to get close to his brothers, but needs time away from LA - Penn is also a Home Improvement personality and has just gotten burned by a woman. He's curious about Alessandra.
Alessandra has her own story - she's called the Nun of Napa after her wedding day ended tragically and she hasn't had a relationship since then. She's attracted to Penn, but she doesn't want a relationship.
Along with Alessandra and Penn's story, there is a secondary romance with Alessandra's best friend Clare and Alessandra's cousin Gil that was wonderful. They've been best friends since kindergarten and now Gil has discovered that he's in love with Clare. Problem with that? She's engaged and getting ready to marry someone else.
So why not 5 stars? To be honest, while I mostly liked Alessandra, I found some of her actions rather unlikeable. And the ending between her and Penn seemed a bit abrupt. But I loved the secondary romance and wouldn't have minded reading more about those two!
If you like Christie Ridgway books, you'll like this book. It's like many of her other books - well written, some good humor and just enjoyable to read - I was ready to move to Napa. If you've never read one of her books, this is a great book to start with.

Crush on You (Three Kisses) Overview
She made knitting sexy.
Now she's taking on a dilapidated winery, three sisters, and the bad boys next door.
The Baci sisters are on a mission to save the winery that's been in their family for generations-by transforming it into the perfect wedding destination. If only Alessandra Baci-affectionately known as the "Nun of Napa"-didn't need the help of tempting neighbor and business rival Penn Bennett.

Opps, It's a Romance Novel - Wilhelmina Gaudy - Beaverton, OR USA
Had I realized "Crush on You (Three Kisses)" was a romance novel I wouldn't have ordered it. What I was expecting was a fun, flirty, read. But, what I found was very slow reading well into the book and annoyance once it picked up.
I was really disappointed by it. I was hoping for so much more. Like looking forward to a trip to Paris and when you arrive you have a stomach flu and it's raining cats and dogs outside.
Maybe this book is more to your liking than mine. It seems plenty of others really enjoyed it.
Love this new series - Tracy Vest - Northern California
Alessandra is nicknamed the nun of Napa Valley, and her tragic past has resulted in men cowering to her every whim, not being able to tell her no. Until she meets Hollywood fix-it bad boy Penn Bennett. He agrees to fix up the crumbling wedding cottage which Alessandra hopes to be the family's ticket out of the red. The nun and the bad boy have an undeniable attraction that surprises them both, but is Penn, who is still smarting from his own parentage ready to be Alessandra's secret?
Ridgway's first in a new series about sisters in Napa Valley was a treat to read. I was disappointed with her "Knitting" series, which made this one seem better than it probably was. While I liked the pairing of Alessandra and Penn, like many other readers, the secondary love story between best friends Gil and Claire is what stole the show. I would have liked for that story to be more expanded.
Fun Read. - Country Woman - Kansas
I just finished reading this book. It was a bit slow to start, but after the first couple of chapters, I couldn't put it down. This is my first read of anything by this author, and I am pleased to add her to my favorite list along with Susan Wiggs, Sherryl Woods and Robin Carr. I'm looking forward to the next book in this trilogy.
