Great Price for

Seducing Jane Porter Review

I'm giving the story 5 STARS because I'd hate to see the author's great work get knocked down because it wasn't listed as an excerpt. I, too, was one of the disappointed readers who believed that I had downloaded a full book and only to find the story abruptly end with the teaser "Are you on the edge of your seat?...stay tuned...." I'd rather know what I'm getting upfront rather than feel I'm getting suckered into something.

Nonetheless, the writer did a wonderful job of hooking me right from the beginning. As I read the story, I found that I couldn't put my kindle down. I'm NOT a big fan of romance but I've got to hand it to Ms. Adair; she may have changed my opinion about the genre.

I tend to prefer stories that are rough and have a raw edge to them, especially when it comes to eroticism and I don't find that in run of the mill romance books. This author though, is masterful at spinning her erotic tale around you, so much so, that you will find yourself smitten and craving more. I will probably buy her books because she is a great writer but will be more wary when downloading the free stuff from now on.

Seducing Jane Porter Overview

Being bad never felt so good-

After being jilted by her former master, Jane Porter looks to end her year-long celibacy by attending a bondage-themed event. Thanks to her ex-boyfriend-s stunning betrayal, she isn-t looking for happily-ever-after, just a master who-s willing to explore the depths of her passion and teach her what the BDSM lifestyle is all about.

Antonio Villareal was a wanted man. Single, rich and good looking, he-s on the hunt for a submissive to share his world. The moment he sees Jane on the arm of another man, he wants to possess her body and soul. The only problem is; Jane makes it clear she isn-t a forever kind of girl.

Can Antonio convince Jane to give him a chance?

Warning: Graphic sex, bondage scenes and the use of masks.

like so many i was shocked it was not a book, but it was free, so i did go and get the other 2 on line. I have been into the free books, but i enjoyed this book and was not willing to let the story end. and what is a couple of bucks per book.......

Truly good! Impossible put down. - Ann McJilton - Wellsville, KS
This book was fantastic. Like many readers of erotic romance, I have read both good and bad books, but this book, and the other two books related to this one, are all very well written, spellbinding, and quite easy to lose oneself in. I eagerly purchased the other books in the Jane Porter trilogy, and read them all in no time. I highly recommend these books (Educating Jane Porter, Reinventing Jane Porter and Seducing Jane Porter). I read them all, one after the other, since one book was not enough to fully immerse myself in the story, but three books worked perfectly. OK, I admit it - I didn't want the story to end. It was easy to imagine myself as the heroine, which I think is the mark of a talented author. If you enjoy good erotic romance, these books are worth your time. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did. Educating Jane Porter: A Jane Porter storyReinventing Jane Porter: Jane Porter Series, Book 3Seducing Jane Porter

So Misleading... - Empress Susi - Paradise, CA
The writing style is something I could get into, I can identify with the lifestyle. I had been looking forward to reading this "book" for a few months, waiting until we were at our cabin on vacation. I gave the book 2 stars for the deception! This NEEDS to be repackaged with all 3 parts as one book and sold as such for a similar price as the authors other books (about ) with the option to download a "sample" which is what this first free part is. Because I was in a remote location for 10 days I did not have Whispernet or computer access to purchase the other 2 parts. I could have found a way to do it, but honestly I was too irritated with the author for this silly behavior. What is the point (other than to mislead your readers & leave them upset with you?) I made due with many of the other books I paid -.99 for. The content IS GOOD, so I'm still considering the buy.

A computer could have generated a better peice of writing than what was published as "Seducing Jane Porter." Not only were there significant holes in the plot but also gaps in the writing in which I would have to scan back and re-read to be sure I hadn't actually missed something. This seems much more like a first draft to me than an actual complete novel ready for readers eyes. A couple things that made me think this are (1) the absolutely horrid and unrealistic dialogue of the flashback scene, (2) how there seemed to be random yet vital or at least helpful details missing, (3) Poor character developement, (4) And an overall air of scattered thoughts and disorganization.
If one were to imagine reading this book as a journey, it would be seen as a rather unpleasent train trip on decrepit and overused rails, which you could see exactly where they were going and you knew you were going to get there in one peice. You reach your destination just as you realize that you've forgotten something vital at home and you're going to have to go back along the same way to get it and then hop on the train heading in the right direction again, and suddenly the train comes to an abrupt and rude halt becuase the conductors have decided to save fuel and are making you walk the rest of the way.
Like the train trip, not only ws this book and complete and utter failure but it was also completely dreadful and a waste of time.
