Dark Challenge Review

I really love this series. I find it great that you can read the books as a series or as stand alone stories. If you are looking for a great read and haven't had the pleasure of Christine Feehan's work before, you should really give the Carpathian novels a shot. They are romantic without being over done or sappy. They contain great action sequences as well. I think these books have something for everyone.

These books are good, just extremely repititous. they basically give the backstory over and over in each book.

Loved Dark Challenge - Meredith Stockman - Virginia
This book was a great read. Julian is a little less tortured than some of the previous male characters - which makes him be more lighthearted - which I enjoyed. Desari was a stronger female character, which isn't always the case in the Dark series. Would definitely recommend this book.

Another great Carpathian novel - SunnyAZ - Arizona
This is the 5th novel in a huge series of Carpathian novels and a very good one too. I loved Dark Prince, Dark Desire and Dark Magic. The 4th one, Dark Gold...not so much. Anyway, I just love the hot sexy romance between the very manly warrior, Julain and the very feminine singer, Desari. Just want to jump in this book and be a character! Can't wait to get through the rest of this series.
